2024 Côtes de Provence Rosé, Maison Angelvin : Angelvin's rosé wines are simply stunning, full-stop. Here we have pale salmon-pink in the glass, with an almost silvery shimmer so delicate, yet with quite intense aromas giving wild strawberry, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The palate is crisp and precise, finely balanced with red berry fruit, a touch of white peach and an almost herbaceous note, all wrapped up with a freshening zing on the long, dry finish.
2024 Rioja Tempranillo, Monte Araya : As Rioja goes this is very light and approachable style. Ripe cherry fruit character on the palate with savoury notes combining together resulting in a wine with notable depth of flavour with a silky finish, medium bodied and complex.
2023 Muscadet Sur Lie, Fief de la Brie : Lively, fresh Muscadet displaying citrus fruits with a little yeasty richness due to the six months 'sur lie'. Produced using grapes from François Bonhomme's (who owns around 15 hectares in the area) finest vineyard 'Fief de le Brie'.
